The mall promotes a new model for shopping and entertainment in the city

Galleria Burgas already welcomed its first customers. Yet from 9 am on May 15th, hundreds of eager citizens of Burgas expected the opening of the most modern trade and entertainment center in the town. The hosts welcomed them - Shalom Mor, a representative of the investor GTC Bulgaria and the mall manager Simon Parvanova. They expressed their ambition through their presence here to make Burgas even a better place to live. And this can't be achieved without the full support they so far received by the municipal administration.

"In times of crisis, big investments are particularly important for us. GTC opened nearly 1,600 new jobs and this will help us deal with the difficulties of the times we live in. Burgas deserves such an investment. A modern shopping center is deserved by housing estate "Slaveykov" too. The moment GTC came to the city it declared social responsibility and already has proven it - by the planting trees and creating a new park, with the sponsorship of major sporting and cultural initiatives, with its support to our most vulnerable fellow-citizens," said the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov.

Water blessing ceremony was performed by the vicar general Father Berov with the accompaniment of a church choir and the ribbon was cut.

Eager the customers rushed in Galleria Burgas where countless surprises awaited them - a raffle with 400 prizes and various promotions from the over 80 brands presented in the new mall.

Galleria Burgas managed to turn the day into a true feast for Burgas. In front of the center the Burgas brass orchestra performed evergreens, jazz and film music almost the whole day.

In the center of the city the opening of the newest and biggest mall was celebrated with a lavish parade. Real movie characters announced that Burgas, which finally has its cinema, is the country's first city - host to an exhibition with real film sets and costumes from Hollywood productions. With lots of singing and dancing the procession led by Raffi, passed starting from the Casino through the central streets and led the multitude to the already working mall where Lubo was warming up the upcoming surprise. After the duet of the performer of the year with Raffi, till late evening the Symphony Orchestra of the Burgas Opera and the choir to it performed popular film music in front of Galleria Burgas.

At 19 pm the Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Sawsan Hason - Deputy Head of the Mission of Israel in Bulgaria, Alan Itskovich - Chairman of the Board of Directors of GTC, Mooky Greidinger - CEO of Cinema City International and Sergei Gutnik from the EBRD, officially cut the ribbon of Cinema City. From today on, the 10 modern cinema halls of the multiplex expect their audience.

At 20:45 pm fireworks put the finale of the spectacular show for the opening of Galleria Burgas and started the new model of shopping and entertainment in the city.
