London`s Royal Theatre comes to Burgas

Galleria Burgas becomes the most unique place for entertainment

The newest shopping center in Burgas - Galleria Burgas whose opening will be on May 15th, promises to become the most unique place for entertainment in the city. Unlike the so far familiar to us traditional malls in which the places for amenities and entertainment have a rather supporting role, here they will become a destination themselves. The intention of the investor GTC is along with the world fashion brands to offer a unique mix of leisure opportunities and to combine the experience of shopping and entertainment. Ten cinema halls, huge entertainment center, fitness center, numerous cafes and restaurants, exhibition and presentation halls, in which right from the opening will be hosted two unique exhibitions - "Bulgaria in Miniature" and "Hollywood in Galleria" - here the visitors will be able to break from the daily round and to acquire the feeling of being part of a more amusing world.

With the opening of Galleria Burgas the seaside town will yet have its own multiplex. It is being built by the largest and most quickly developing chain Cinema City. The ten halls of the cinema are with a total capacity of 1696 seats. Six of them are designed for 3D film-shows. All halls are equipped with the latest cinema technology and the interior is with an impressive design and functionality. Cinema City will offer the high standard of movie experience, the company is already known in our country with - big screens, top class projectors, 5-channel digital surround sound and comfortable interior, to meet the expectations of even the most discerning moviegoers. The company, which operates 96 movie theaters with 906 screens in 7 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, in 2011, sold 35.5 million tickets for its film-shows.

Especially for the opening of Cinema City in Galleria Burgas on May 16th the cinema chain has prepared a series of star events. For the same day is planned the gala premiere of the movie "Parada" directed by Srdjan Dragojevic, which will be attended by him personally too. This will be the first film in Bulgaria, for which a gala premiere is organized outside the capital. The guests will have the opportunity to talk with the director and to get an autograph. On May 16th, starting on the screen in Burgas is the Bulgarian film "The Stranger" too. Its first audience will have the chance to meet with its director Niki Iliev, with his beloved one performing the star part Sanya Borisova as well as with part of the cast.

Cinema City will offer many other blockbusters from the first day of its opening. The audience will be able to experience in 3D "Titanic," "Men in Black," "The Avengers". On the big screens will be rotated the latest two-dimensional films too, including "The Dictator" and "Dark Shadows".

Via satellite on a big screen at Cinema City in Galleria Burgas will be directly broadcasted the performances of the Royal National Theatre in London. The productions from the British capital, which are being transmitted by satellite to more than 700 halls in over 22 countries, now come in Burgas. Just as in traditional theater, during the intermission the audience can come out of the hall, but may stay in too and watch interviews with directors and actors from the performance.

The first production - the stage play "Mistakes of the Night" will be broadcasted on May 21st.
